Best game system?

So i'm looking to buy a new game system. I have been playing playstation since it came out and i have had PS2 for a while now and i was wondering if PS3 is worth getting, or should i get Xbox 360 or even Wii…..I usually play games like GTA, Madden, Tony Hawks, etc. So basically everything. Which system has the best overall graphics, games, etc, for the price. Any input would be great. Also, anyone know why they have hard drives now? am i screwed if i get a 40 gig over a 60 gig? Thanks

I have a ps3 and i used to have 2 xbox 360's, i only got the xboxes for halo3 and oblivion. The 360 alwats breaks within 5 months no matter how well you take care of it. The ps3 is better when it comes to quality but it is more expensive. The wii isnt that great it gets boring after a couple weeks. Id say the ps3.

i recommend the ps3. they already have some of the big titles out and there will be more to come (cmon, it's sony. look at their track record) and the online service is FREE.

well a ps3 for 600 xbox 250 the only diffrence is sometimes xbox breaks after 2 -3 years so there it is

The new manufactured 360s do not have the breakdown problem. In addition, Microsoft has offered to fix ALL Xbox 360 consoles for free, regardless of when they were purchased. Xbox LIVE is a great online experience. The one offered for ps3 is lame in comparison. 360 has tons of games. PS3 is just now getting out of a slump and still doesn't have 25% of the library.
Wii is a fun machine for parties.

you can upgrade the hard drive in a ps3 but not in a xbox360. if you want a unreliable system from a unreliable company and you don't want to get anything included with it (which means you have to pay for it) like wireless and online then get a xbox360. if you want a system that is more than capable to keep you entertained now and will be there still pumping out new things this year and the years down the road then get a ps3 plus with all the features the only thing you need to pay for is a HDMI cable if you have a hi-def T.V.
