Getting a PS3 after christmas…?
and my parents agreed that if i payed for the console, they'll buy me 2 games. I am very happy about this but i don't know which games to pick. I was looking up games and came up with a list: MGS4, LBP, Fallout 3, Resistance 2, Prince of Persia, Motorstorm: Pacific Rift, CoD 4 or World at War and Bioshock. Now I just have to pick 2 out of the list of 9. I'm having a hard time choosing. Unfortunately, im not allowed to get GTA IV, so don't suggest it please. I would like to know your opinions, what games I should go for? Thank you in advance. **PLEASE NO 360 FAN BOYS**

although many people are telling you to buy mgs4, i'd advise against it. although it is a phenomenal game, it has no online. after you go through the story one or two times, what are you gonna do? please take replayability into account. games like lbp, and COD, have ridiculous replayability with iteir superb online. you will get so many more hours from it. experience the thrills of mgs4 through a rent.
BUT if you're a hardcore mgs fan and you're sure that you'll be playing it again and again, i'd say buy it.
cod 4 and ressistance 2. they are the best games ever made!!!! and could you email me and tell me how u convinced your parents?
If you've played the past MGS games, then MGS4 is definitely a game to buy, the game is awesome, great action, amazing cutscenes . For the second game, I would get either LBP, or Fallout 3.
LBP and Resistance 2.
LBP will give you at least 20 hours on the story mode, and at LEAST 200 hours total online, with creating levels, playing story mode offline and co op AND online co op, and playing created levels by other people.
Resistance 2 will give you at least 16 hours on the story mode, at least 100 hours online with a new co op style with tons of missions, a competitive style match with up to 60 vs 60 player matches, and offline co op and competitive matches.

Toughie but go with the latest games like CoD4 and Fallout 3 they will last you long online until the price for the rest of the games goes down and then u can buy them at affordable cost on your own someday.
It is either Fallout 3 or Resistance. Check with your friends and see how many are playing either games. Whoever is still playing those, get that game in addition with CoD4!

only problem is do you want modern warfare or ww2? cod4 is modern warfare and world at war is ww2. i'd choose which cod based on that preference only, because other than that, they are essentially the same exact game
also, i reccomend for you to rent mgs4, fallout, hell all on your list is definitely rent-worthy.
