Hey are any of you guys experiencing static or glitchy graphics or flickering on your PS3 playing GTA 4. Im playing with a MadCatz HDMI cable and Ive tried it on two different HDTVs (Sony 32" and Samsung 46").

A way to describe it is when you're watching a movie at a movie theater, you can see that flickering. Or if any of you have watched pirated movies, you can see that static or bad quality flickering. Or if you have an old tv on a bad channel there will be that static. On my two different HDTVs, I see that static on different parts of the screen every other second and its very noticeable. This is only happening to GTA 4 but not my other games or the XMB or DVDs. I returned the GTA 4 for a new one and the problem is still there. Ive tried different resolution settings.

Please respond with educated answers and not opinons like "i dont like that game". I really need help determining what the problem is. Could it be my PS3 or HDMI cable or even my TVs
i just learned that it wasnst only grand theft auto. im getting the problem on ea skate also. problem didnt go away when i switched to my normal composite cables so it must be my ps3.

a better way to explain it is flickering or a visual static. like if ur getting a bad tv signal then you will see flickering on various parts of the screen. im sending in my ps3 for repair or replacement. what will they give me? repair or replacement.
