Grand Theft Auto IV help?
Hi, to start this off I am going to say I am 12 years old. About a month before Grand Theft Auto IV (GTA4) came out, I went to my local gamestop and pre-ordered it. ONE MONTH LATER… I ask my mom if we can go out and pick it up. Mom replies "NO". I ask dad. Same response. My grades in school have room for improvement, but I only score low because I am lazy, and my parents know that. They don't have any problems with the violence, or language. It's just the "sexual themes" and "partial nudity". I have done so much research on the game, and it seriously does not sound as bad as my parents and the press are making it out to be. My friend who 11 plays it!!! I have GTA Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories. Also, another variable in my predicament is that, my dad has an IT guy who works for him, and he has the game and he's telling my dad about how bad it is. I have a lot of other ESRB rated M games for PS3, 360, and PSP. Any help on this topic would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks.

this game is pretty graphic
the most advice we can give you
is to show you're maturity as much as possible and have them supervise you while playing.
It is a bit graphic, but not so you can totally see a hardcore XXX scene, the most you can get is just see your car going up and down. but who wants to do only that stuff right?

Umm in this game the most "sexual" thing is a strip club which is optional to go to and thats pretty much it…
its deff not that bad, the sex part is only at the stip club and is very limited…..although its a good game i can't side with you on this…the gamestop you went to shouldn't have let you preorder it if you werent 17 plus your parents should have known you wanted to get so you could have saved yourself the trouble……sorry
yep this game is really not that bad my parents are ok with it i just play it downstairs and steer clear from any violence until i take it upstairs then they trust me
You have to show your maturity just gurantee your parents you won't go to the strip club and if they ask show them your stats on the game it will tell how many times you have been. Plus there are way more things to do then go to the strip club really it's boring.
The only sexual themes are the Strip Club which there is 1 mission in and when you try your luck for a girlfriend. I don't think it's that bad with them. Hope this helped!
Ok tell you parents that there is no nudity at all really. Just alot of bad language but if you parents are fine with that then there should be no problem. There is a strip club, but its your option if you want to go in it or not like someone else said. Im very experienced with the grand theft auto series and especially knowlegable with this game. If your parents have any questions about it tell them to email me, and I can answer it for them.
