GTA IV trophy patch help?
I have the game GTA IV and didn’t get any trophies the first time around. Now I started a new game and still can’t get any trophies even when I finish the needed objectives. I heard that there’s this trophy patch and I was wondering how to get it. Someone said that it’s with the game so all you have to do is play the game but that didn’t work for me. I also tried to delete the profile on my ps3 hard drive and then reinstalled it but that didn’t work either. Help.

I know you said you did already but did you delete both your saved games and the game data? They are in seperate locations in the menu, then reinstall the game and connect to the internet to get the update for the trophies?
Also if your using cheats the game will not award you trophies.
You need to have your ps3 hooked up to a high speed internet connection and install the latest patch for GTA IV. To do this simply have your ps3 hooked up to a internet connection and when you start up the game it will tell you if you want to install the latest patch and once you have this patch you cant use cheat codes or you wont get any trophies.
