How Many Game Can You Really Store On An Xbox 360 Arcade?

I am going to buy an Xbox 360 Arcade soon and i searched around looking to see how many games you can store on the hard drive and people say about 3 or 4. But looking at the back of my 360 games box's it doesn't appear so, The Arcade comes with 256 MB right? Well on the back of my GTA4 box it say's "1MB To Save Game" so i'll be left with 255 MB seem's like alot of room,Even Fallout 3 say's "8 MB To Save Game" so you'd be left with alot of room. But to cut to the chase doe's it really only take "1MB To Save Game" or whatever or doe's it take more data up than that? So what im asking with this question is what it say's on the back of the box to save the game,Is that really all the memory it takes up or more memory it takes up but doesn't say. And after making a profile and all that on the Arcade are you still left with 256 MB to use for games and music?
Thank's for your answer and i don't play online or download anything so i won't have to worry about that. And most of the time whenever i save i overwrite instead if making more save's so that could save space.

On the Arcade, you'll be able to store a good number of game saves onto the built-in memory card. You won't have to worry about running out of space for that for a while.

You won't be able to store many actual games or DLC, though. Some arcade games are less than 50 MB, but most of those are older games. Newer ones are over 150 MB which means you'd only be able to save one at a time, and some just won't fit at all.

People saying '3-4' are talking about saving full games to a hard drive on the Pro/Elite, and not the Arcade.

It really depends on each individual game and how many saves you have for each. The back of the box is giving you an estimate of the required initial space it needs to save usually for the auto save feature in games like GTA and Fallout. That doesn't include any manual saves you make yourself or any extra content you plan on downloading if you have Xbox Live. A profile also take up space and that varies too. I would say that a 256 MB memory card can hold around 10 games, but like I said, it varies from game to game and how many manual saves you plan on making.
