How much money could you get for a PS3 traded-in? [Xbox Q's too]?

Well, in October I got payed and bought a PS3 only to discover none of my friends have one, lol. I have a few games for it: COD4, GTA4, Madden 09 and FIFA 08. I went to a shop called GAME, which if you're from Ireland or the UK, will have heard of. But they wouldn't give me a price because they told me it was "circumstancial". ALL I WANTED WAS A DAMN AVERAGE!

It's in good condition, not damaged or anything. Is played a few times a week, that's it.

Anyone have an estimate? For the PS3 seperately, Then the Games if you can.

also, how much is an Xbox? And by this I mean a fully functional Xbox with all the required gadgets.

I probably won't trade it in because it's my birthday in 6 days so I might just buy one then, lol. but just out of curiousity.

I don't know where that guy got the idea that you would get £250 for it because you can almost get a new one for that. I think Gamestation offer around £110 - £120 trade in and even less for cash depending on which one it is. To get a 360 Internet ready wireless controller and Hard drive I have seen for around £200 and then you have to pay subscription for online and you might get a game with it. Your games I think would average about £10 each so you would probably be a good way towards getting an XBox if you talk to the guy in the shop you might even get a straight swap because trade in on XBoxes are about half what the PS3 is.
