how risky is it to mod xbox?
i want to get it modded but a little worried about getting banned from live. some people say they’ve been doin it for years others say you’ll get caught! i really just want to be able to rip games i already own so i can mod them and burn them as backups. i’m not trying to pirate. i don’t have enough time to play that many games anyways, but it would add to my enjoyment the little time i do get to play if i had a flying car, and rapid fire rocket launching pistol in gta4. so my question is if i’m careful will i be ok?

welll i just bought a rapid fire modd kit so i will put it together to my controller and my brother has one he had it for years and never got kicked from live but they have been like patching it so you can only shoot so fast so if you do buy a modded controller make sure you buy one that can go as fast as it can go with out getting blocked like i got mine from this website http://www.modzstore.com/XBOX_360_4_Mode_Dual_Rapid_Fire_Kit___Blue_Leds_For_Controller/p107536_304646.aspx

As long as you dont use the mods on Xbox Live, probably why you wanted it though, theres no risk.
