How to get online with PS3?
I have a T-mobile dongle for my laptop, and I was wondering if I could get online on my PS3 with it or if I needed to buy an ethernet cable? Im hopeless at these kind of things, and if i do need to buy one of those cables will I need to buy a separate dongle for it or can i plug in my T-mobile one in?
Also does anyone have any games recommendations, I don’t have a favourite genre but the sims and gta are the games I normally play.
And does anyone know where to buy a cable for my PS3 if I need to buy it?

Right, you can put your dongle into your laptop to get it online, then connect your ps3 to your laptop with an ethernet connection, BUT, it’s not gonna be any use for gaming on the PSN, your mobile internet dongle is for casual web surfing and email sending/receiving and such like, not for gaming sorry! 
Have a look on youtube if you need help, there will be videos on there to show you how it’s done.

you need internet access and yes you do need an ethernet cable, it will not work otherwise.
