get the ps3, it has better grafic, and alot of other stuff. iam the new thing PLAYSTATION HOME is coming out

bro trust me get a 360 i have ps3 psp and 360 psp and 360 are the best cuz you can download iso (full games like halo3,gta lcs etc)

unfortunetly they cut GTA4 down to 7 gigs to fit onto a whimpy DVD disk so its the same on both systems.
Although the majority of games for PS3 are over 20gigs on a blueray disk which really shows how much more elaborate the game is.

I have both and i love my xbox more GTA is better on xbox because you go for achivments and it makes you wanna play the game more, ps3 i like it for its blue-ray

I would go with the PS3 its awesome, it delivers great graphics, great games and it is compatible with your psp(bonus)

i would say if your friends want you to copy them then get what they have! if you want a ps3 then get it it's fun! or a nintendo wii.

seriously get a 360 if you are getting xbox live because 360 u can download anything and it is better for GTA4 because it has downloadable content. Ps3 takes a long time to load because the stuff in it. the 360 can hold a 120 GB hard drive

This is the same situation I am in, except only like 2 or 3 of my friend have PS3 and all the others have 360's. I chose the PS3 because I did some research and I found that the PS3 is the better piece of hardware and the PS3 will surpass the 360 by 2009 in games( although thats up for debate) I'm really glad I picked the PS3 because in the long run it cheaper. And plus the online is free with the PS3. With your PSP you can use Remote Play which is a really great feature that allows you to access your PS3's hard drive from anywhere in the world. And then you can play the PS2 games on the PS3 which is pretty nice so you can sell your PS2.

PS3 deffinately does not have longer load times just to clear that up. They say the graphics for the ps3 have thus far only reached 10% of its potential and Xbox has already peaked. I would go with the ps3 as it has soooo many nice games coming out within the next year or so. Like Metal Gear Solid 4, Street Fighter 4, Tekken 6, Motorstorm 2, Resistance 2, and there are many other games to look forward to such as a new Jak and Daxter, Prince of Persia, God of War, Assassin's Creed, Ratchet and Clank, and much more. Plus you'll never have to worry about the 3 rings of death which is 100 bucks to fix.

i have both systems and my 360 pretty much just collects dust. halo 3 was a big disappointment after all the fanboy hype. bioshock was ok, but i played through once and havent touched it since. i think its still in the 360. the only plus side of the 360 to me was streaming with media center, but after putting in a 250GB hdd in my PS3, i dont use the 360 for that much anymore either. btw im on my 3rd 360, the first two fell victim to the red ring of death.i have no complaints about my PS3. ive had it since launch and have had noproblems with it. you would be familiar with the XMB and woul probably really enjoy the remote play feature since you already have a PSP. the PS3 has too many pluses for me to list (you can look at some of the resolved questions on this topic). if you can afford it, and youre not an ignorant microsoft fanboy, buy the PS3.

PS3 has free internet which is always good to have. 360 doesn't. Graphics are similar though I have seen videos saying GTA4 had better graphics so I'm thinking PS3 is starting to get better graphics. Personally,I like the PS3 controller more, and its lighter. Xbox 360 has a 1 out of 3 fail rate which is very important to consider when your spending almost 400 dollars. PS3, on the other hand has about a 0.2% fail rate for about 50 dollars more, unless you get the better PS3 (memory stick slots, bigger hard drive). Another huge thing to consider is what do your friends have? You will enjoy online alot more if you're playing with your friends. Well, there are alot more things to consider about buying a console like games but IDK what games you like so I hope I helped
