i need help picking some stuff?

first of all i am worried when i buya router that it wont reach my ps3. My ps3 is in my basement and teh router is gonna be imn my living room?? ( like 2 floors up) anyways will my ps3 get the signal and what game should i get mgs4 or gta IV i was leaning over the gat IV anmd thinking about Bad Company?/

I don't know exactly how far apart the router and ps3 are but isn't it possible to just move either one closer? Nevertheless, ask a professional, research more on routers. Better yet, try borrow a friends router and test the situation out. You could alse buy a router, if it doesn't work then simply return it. It's no big deal…

I have GTA IV, and yeah, it IS a great game overall and the most realistic of the series so far. This 'is' also a downpoint for me, because it is so realistic (in comparison) it sort of loses the genuine feel and atmosphere of previous gta games. The setting and environment the same throughout, just an urban environment. Having played GTA IV, i would much rather play MGS 4, its really worth it. Play GTA or MGS before you get Bad Company though.

Whether the signal from your router will reach your PS3 depends on the router (try asking the Geek Squad at Best Buy, or really, any salesperson at any electronics store.) However, if the router is in the same house as the game console, it should work. If it doesn't, get a more expensive model router - one with stronger signal and therefore larger coverage area.

As for which game you should get, I would highly recommend GTA IV. Everyone I know who has bought the game is very satisfied.
