Linking Xbox to Vista Laptop?
Firstly, is it possible to link an Xbox 360 to my Sony Vaio VGN-N21S Windows Vista laptop, in order to use the screen as a monitor? If so, please tell me how and what cables I would need. Thanks people.
Secondly, I am a University student, around £150 clear of entering my £1000 overdraft and with 8 weeks of term left. Should I buy an Xbox 360 with GTA4 for £199.99? lol. Your thoughts appreciated.
To use the screen monitor, you need to buy adapters for you 360's AV cables to plug into, and the adapter plugs into the laptop.
I'm guessing, I only know with PC's (if adapters will fit), I'm not sure if it'll fit into the laptop.
Just use your TV, but have your Xbox Live connected via Laptop.
Take Care ?

WEll the thing is you can't use the screen as a monitor..the laptop and xbox360 works like this……….you can watch movies and videos and listen to music on your pc on your xbox with our wires if you have a wireless router
First you need to connect ur xbox to the pc via a crossover cable.
Then select your internet connection that u want to link ur xbox 360, right click and select properties, sharing then click on the box that u can click on that says: 'Allow other network connections to connect via this internet connection' the ok.
Set ur xbox to automatic and happy gaming.
P.S Get the 360 with GTA IV Its amazing.
