MGS4 or GTA4 for 40GB PS3 ???
I dont like shoot-em-up games but i found out that MGS4 is the highest rated and most awaited games for the PS3 which is followed by GTA4.
I love action/adventure games like Assassin's Creed and BULLY(a.k.a Canis Canem Edit).
I am 14 yr old. I have a 11 yr brother would watch me playing. Is the amount of violence and sexual content in GTA 4 inappropriate for his age.
Please help me decide which game to buy. Also please advice me any more games like GTA
Thanks
Firstly, if your choosing out of MGS 4 and GTA 4, get MGS 4, much better!
I do believe that GTA has unsuitable content for a 11 year old. The game is 18 rated!
Other games i would recommend are:
*Call of Duty 4
*Resistance fall of man
*Kane and Lynch
What ever you buy, make sure you watch out for age ratings for your little bro!

GTA4 is meh after you finish it.
MGS4 is a classic Playstation game that no PS fans should miss.
MGS4 is tha bomb get that 1
GTA 4 is very good. But If your brother is gonna watch I would recommend MGS4 with a little bit of Parent Guidance for good measure.
inappropriate at his age mate its inapropriate at your ages jesus your only 14 GTAIV is an 18 and MGS4 is a 15/16+
i'd have to say mgs4,
though gta is entertaining, you will get addicted for a short time, then its meaningless,
also yes it would be inappropriate as there is language/crime, but most of all the new car sex with hookers is more detailed than just the two sat face-forward with the car moving up n down
plus mgs4 looks great, and i hear it's AWSOME
It may be, but, if you turn the sound down a little bit then i think you will be fine
both games aregreat but i have gta4 and got bored half ways. its only about killing people. i think mgs4 i s better
there both good but gta 4 gets boring, i like mgs 4 better it has the best story ive ever seen in a video game
GTA IV is NOT age appropriate. I'm 32 and the amount of violence and sexual content is inappropriate for me, but still love it. MGS 4 is a shooting game, but if you liked Assassin's Creed, then you will like MGS 4, as they are very similar: not fast paced, stealthy, take your time and find stuff. Also, the blood can be turned off on MGS 4. While it has a great story, the violence isn't nearly as bad as GTA IV.
I too, do NOT like shoot 'em up games (or FPS, First Person Shooters), but loved Assassin's Creed and Bully and have played every Metal Gear since day one. Assassin's Creed, Bully, and MGS 4 are all very similar games play wise, the only difference being MGS 4 online is a straight shoot 'em up style, just like any other FPS game out there. I've played all of 10 minutes online and am fine with not going back.
As far as other games like GTA (sandbox style), there really aren't any out yet for the PS3. Oblivion is that style, but is an RPG (Role-Playing Game), however, plays more like Bully and GTA do with the fight as you go and do what missions you want to when you want to, or just roam around. Also, unlike regular RPG's where you are thrust into random battles while walking around, you aren't thrust into random battles while walking around in Oblivion, and can see all the enemies, just like GTA. I would recommend Oblivion as it is a pretty long game and fits the style you are looking for.
Dude, i'm freaking twelve, and i play GTA4. As long as your bro is not a tattler, GTA4 all the way.
