I shot a shotgun in GTA4(The shot button is RT) it will make the controller shut down. This only happens if I use a semi-automatic shotgun(The one that fires in fast bursts). It works perfectly fine with the other weapons.

If I press on the RT button, in AC1, to block and then press X to counter an attack it will shut down the controller.

Both controllers are wireless and both of them run on batteries. I was thinking that the batteries might have run out of power but I’m not sure. Can I get some help please?
I got hold on some batteries but the controller acts the same. Any ideas?
