I just found out that there has been a new playstation 3 released thats said to be thinner, less power consuming and generally cheaper. I am iterested in this as i always have been with ps3’s even though the price tag has held me back. I currently own an x box 360 and am debateing tradeing it along with GTA IV (its a standard arcade with no hardrive) In towards store credit to the new ps3. I also have a paid for call of duty moderwarefare 2 at game thats is due to be released in november. I will probably end up getting the ps3 even if it means paying and extra $200 if they will allow me to change that preorder from 360 to ps3.

The reasons i want to switch from 360 to ps3 is that x box live costs money (alot) and ps3 online gameplay is free.
Ps3 connects wirelessly whereas my 360 needs a bloody long cable due to me not paying $120 for a network adapter.
The ps3 is a blu ray player.

My questions for all you PS3 head out there is this or these LOL

* Is it worth me doing that?
* Can the Playstation 3 play DVD’s s well as blu ray discs?
*Can i use any bluetooth headset with it? as the ps3 one is pricey
* Do you think a ps3 is an overlal good console for me if i am looking for something that doesnt end up costing allot in the LONG run?

Sorry for the long and detaiiled. Also if i do scrape up the cash i wont have enough for any games till my preordered Call of duty comes in. So it may be a lil boring till then unless the console has good built in features EG:Vidzone or something like that..
