From your description especially since you don’t really play or enjoy the Wii much anymore, it sounds like a decent trade for something hopefully you will enjoy for a while.

From the money standpoint, a Wii sells new for like around $250 while the PS3 40G version is no longer selling but used to sell for $400 but now they sell the PS3 80G for the same $400 and you can buy used PS3 40G online for around $300-350. Big bonus that comes with the PS3 is if you have or will ever get an HDTV, the PS3 has a built in BlueRay DVD player which by itself (assuming you don’t play “any” games ever) should be worth $300-400 all by itself.

I guess to me the only question is whether you feel your 21 games and extra wiimote is worth a lot of money too much to trade, if so then maybe you could try trading the consoles but not give up all the games only some of them, either give some of them to some friends or try to sell them on EBay or something.
