ps3 vs xbox 360!!!!!?
This question will cause so many arguments 
If you want an Xbox 360 elite and have a PS3 you might as well keep it the PS3 as by selling it and buying an Xbox will lose you quite a bit of money but if you are prepared to lose a tiny sum of money get the elite. The premium console is £170 and has 60gb of memory which is plenty for game saves and HD video and Movies so if you. Believe me it is great though it is quite ironic that at this time my Xbox is off being repaired.
Even though most Xbox 360s now are supposed to now be unable to get the RROD I would recommend getting a warranty with it as Microsoft are very poor with communication and punctuality. My Xbox is insured by a seperate company and it takes no longer than 10 days after being sent to return fixed good as new.
Microsoft have made the Xbox 360 an affordable console with the arcade being extremely cheap and a premium console not much more and cheaper than the wii.
The games and Xbox Live are the main selling point of the Xbox, with so many games being released soon for example: Forza Motorsport 3, Halo 3: ODST, Modern Warfare 2 and many great games already out like the Gears of War series and what’s more is most of these games are Xbox exclusives so there is no playing them on the PS3 and to be quite honest you PS3 owners are missing out.
When I went on holiday once there were 2 PS3s with online capabilities and MGS and Rachet and Clank and conclude that the Xbox games are much better simply because they are more fun. I was on holiday for 2 weeks and played the PS3 for a little bit and when I came home was so happy to play my Xbox.
Sure the Xbox live is £30-£40 a year depending on where you buy it but a year of playing Xbox is ages and well worth the money. With the premium and elite models you get a headset with the console though be very careful with it as it is prone to break. The NXE (new Xbox experience) allows you to have party chat so you can talk to up to 7 friends at once all playing different games if you so wish. There are also more people on Xbox Live that PSN and searchtimes are much quicker.

Xbox 360 has a lot more stuff you can do. Plus after microsoft releases Project Natal, they will even be ahead of Wii in the motion detection field. xbox 360 is a better investment, the only donwside is having to pay for xbox live gold memberships.

PS3 is better, trust me. You get free internet browser while Xbox 360 you have to pay for and the game on ps3 are better - Killzone 2, God of War 3, Infamous, Uncharted and MGS4.

360 has more variety of games, best online xbox live and DLC for arcades and game add ons. There are probably more people playing GTA 4 on the 360 then on the PS3

Playstation 3 is also working on a new control, which will make motion sensor gain a higher level than before. They showed few about this on their E3 stand. With the future control they got developed (still under developing tho). Maybe wii and xbox got them both, but sony is working for an even better one, worth waiting for indeed.
Still PS3 is and will always be my favorite, the online community is awesome as well. Xbox has always been kind of budget consol, you think they are cheap, but they work like the airlines, you buy it cheap and get games cheap, but they charge you money for all the cool and funny stuff, which is all free on playstation 3.
Anyway no one can tell which suit you the best, just try both and see which you prefer. Trading consols are just a way to steal your money, so i would never recommend that except you love throwing money out of the window.
360 is the best! it has way more games and its good on live
