Should I buy GTA IV (PS3)?
I just bought a PlayStation 3 (PS3) a few days ago, and I am wanting to buy GTA IV. But I heard there's some freezing issues. Also, how good is Multiplayer? Can someone care to explain all?

Well honestly that just depends on your type. If you like shooting/ action games you might want to buy it. But if you dont love those types of games wait a bit especially since you just bought the ps3 so u dont keep spending money for nothing. Ask friends try the demo if its available and get lots of ratings on it. I wouldn't really reccomend it because it has some stuff thats sort of "inappropriate" . So if youre more of a sports or shooting guy buy Call of Duty 4 or Halo 3 Or something like Fifa 08. But just try the game at a friends house or try the demo first before you do anything.

I have GTA4 on PS3 and have not had any freezing issues. A patch was released to fix that problem. I have not play multi-Player yet.
Yes there are freezing issues if you have the latest ps3 update…. Anyway I'd rent Gta4 it gets kinda redundant and boring after a few days. The graphics are lame and the physics are poor. THe storyline is great though but it still doesn't hold your attention long enough to own the game…Get Call of Duty 4 or Haze which comes out on May 20th.
Only the original ps3 processors have the freezing issue. Any PS3s manufactured after I believe April of 2007(I know the year for sure) are unaffected by it.
Without a doubt you should get it. It is an outstanding achivment in video games and should not be missed by anybody who has a PS3 and or 360. It has amazing graffiz awsome physics great gameplay amazingly fun maltiplayer. Dude get this game you wont be sorry. and as for the freezing issues i havent encountered any yet. But YES YES YES YES YES YES YES GET THIS GAME IT ROCKS. IT IS WHAT I CALL THE SEX OF VIDEO GAMES!!!!!!!!!!
My copy never froze. But it does have some occasionall glitches and bugs. But GTA IV is a must buy!
But to me, GTA SANANDREAS is slightly better.
definately buy gta 4,it is a great game with an unbelivable city,to the guy "R N D",you probabaly dont even own gta 4,saying the graphics suck is riddiculous,what do you expect from a game with a huge city with realistic pedestrains walking around,its not about graphics,its about gameplay,so yes you should definately but gta 4
Multiplayer is great. I got the game after they came out with the fix. I updated before playing the actual game and I didn't have any game freezing. RnD is right in a way. The graphics are cheezee. The pedestrians are all the same 20. Except at night some wear different clothes and are hookers. The game is not as fun as San Andreas.
