Should i get a Xbox 360 Elite?

I have a Wii [which the kids and I enjoy] I have a PS3 which to tell you the truth is just a movie player as I dont like many games on it.
I have gta IV on ps3, is there much/any difference to the xbox version?
would it be worth getting an Xbox 360 Elite for banjo and gears of war?
my internet service provider also has free xbox downloads, so anything i touch on xbox live wont cost me a penny, except for the subscription

There is so much debate between the ps3 vs 360, I have a 360 Pro & do not really regret it, GTA 4 is the same as ps3 as my friend & I share tricks!! PS3 is great for the blue ray player, but 360 has many more exclusive games. Eg: Fable 2, Gears 2 & Halo 3, You cannot compete with games like this.

As far as quality, I've heard Ps3 is greater though by not much.

My Suggestion get a Elite & Im sure you won't regret it, though you gota get Xbox Live !!

If it's just for Banjo and GoW, then I wouldn't recommend getting a 360, but there is definitely a wide variety of games for 360. I would recommend a 360 if you're really into gaming, because (like you said) the PS3 is more like a movie player at the moment, and the Wii hasn't gotten very many great exclusive games as of late.

i hav had a 360 since it launched so i know a lot about it. unless you like black and money isn't an issue i would recommend getting a pro. it has a 60gb hard drive instead of a 120gb for $100 less. you dont really need that 120gb. i still hav a 20gb, i recently maxed it out but that took 3 years. anyway, yes the 360 has good games that should give you reason to buy one
