tired of shooters. any ps3 recommendations?

Im getting really tired of shooters, almost every game is a shooter now and its nauseating. right now, i own gta 4, civilization revolution, call of duty, socom confrontation ( beta , also preordered) . i really always use to appreciate the jak and daxter /ratchet and clank series, loved them both. i didnt like what they did to the jak and daxter after number one though, and i feel as the ratchet and clank future felt really childish.

any new recommendations of some games that im overlooking?
maybe i should invest in gamefly.
Dont say little big planet, it looks idiotic

Well if your looking for any non-shooter game I would recommend Devil May Cry 4, Soul Calibur 4, Star Wars the Force Unleashed, Dragonball Z Burst Limit and Grand Turismo 5. And I know what you mean by that, it wouldn't hurt to make a few more adventure type games. Hope this helps.

How about Raw vs Smack-down 2009 this is the first game to ever have a co-op story mode in the Wrestling Franchise. It is the first also to let you “create a finisher”.

or

Soul Caliber IV— this game features star wars characters like Darth Vader and His Secret Apprentice. Yoda will eventually be a downloadable character.

or

Star Wars Force Unleashed— this game was specifically designed to be able to just own your opponent with the force. The first level is played by Darth Vader and the rest his played by his apprentice who in one of the levels destroyed a star ship with his own two hands.
