To all PS3 owners???/?
I just bought one yesterday. I have GTA IV which will probably keep me going for a while, but apart from that, what do you think are the other must have games on the PS3? I do like role playing games (another favourite game is Zelda on the wii) and sports games, any adivce would be greatfully received.

Assassin's Creed is an exceptional game. You do perform missions, sort of like GTA. But the graphics are incredible. Also, look into Metal Gear Sold, it's coming next month, and is supposed to be the most anticipated PS3 title. They really tried to make the most of the PS3's capabilities, which is often wasted in other multi-platform games. MGS is PS3 only. Also, Resistance was the most popular PS3 game at launch, and Resistance 2 is due out later in the year.

Assassins Creed is probably worth a shot, good game. Also for some action go with call of duty 4.
To be honest the big titles are coming up rather then being all ready available like Metal Gear solid 4.
Well, Call of Duty 4 seems to still be a pretty big game… Especially with the new maps out. Another big game for the PS3 would have to beMetal Gear Solid 4 which should be out around the 12th of June. i also hear that a lot of people really enjoy Condemned 2, & Heavenly Sword seemed pretty fun. Battlefield Bad Company would be out around the 23rd of June, so that's a good game to look forward to. That's all that I can think of at the moment. Hope this helps! ^^

call of duty 4 has my husband hooked and the online play is brilliant.
Assassins creed is an amazing game, free to roam here and there, extra activities…which makes the game more fun and long.
More good games are:
Ninja Gaiden Sigma (Love this game)
Devil May Cry 4…Good game
Heavenly Sword…good game but short
For Car racing, Burnout Paradise is the best. In Sports, I only know of NBA 2K8 coz I am Basketball fan.

I would have to say call of duty 4 is the best game next to gta 4
Assassins Creed is pretty good, its a fun game with some huge areas etc but it is very repetative (doesn't stop you from having fun)

Did you buy it voluntarily, or was the shop all out of Wii's, XB360's, and every other console ever released.
My advice, sell it and deny that you ever owned one.
so far as role playing games, the PS3 is lacking in that department. elder scrolls: oblivion is about the only one worth mentioning and it's has a following all it's own so if your looking for role playing, look no further than elder scrolls. another game you might want to consider is the orange box which has 5 games in one, all which are FPS (first person shooters) now, for sports, you've got a bit of selection, but being so late in the game, i'd just wait a while until they come out with the latest and the greatest. it's hard to say that any game is going to match up with zelda, but elder scrolls will be pretty damn close
