What are some good PS3 games besides COD4 and GTA?

Ratchet & Clank : Future Tools of Destruction
Uncharted : Drakes Fortune
Motorstorm
Gran Turismo 5 : Prologue
Folklore
Grand Theft Auto 4
MLB 08 The Show
Madden 09 (August, NCAA 09 in July)

Other Great Games:

Oblivion
Ninja Gaiden Sigma
Assassin's Creed
Viking : Battle for Asgard
Warhawk
Lair
Haze (Not as good as COD4 or Resistance though).

Metal Gear Solid 4

Probably the best game ever made… and I've been gaming since 1983.

I'd also check out Folklore, Oblivion, Resistance: Fall of Man too. There's some good games on the horizon… Overlord and FFXIII both look awesome.
