When do we see the full extent of the PS3?
dual sided 50 Gig capacity
I've just realised the hype about GTA 4 & MGS 4, is bull crap
ok they didn't release MGS on Xbox, but GTA was,
All i'm sayin is Xbox HD disks can only hold 15 Gig information, so GTA PS3 could have been 3 times bigger
When will we see the full extent of this 50 Gig capacity
i've just bought a blu-ray player for PC so i should be able to see unless they've locked the disk & so on, just to hide this fact
Hi, the big problem is when the developers get to grips with the PS3 a little better, first party titles and exclusives are much more likely to use this extra space that the 3rd party ones as to use this extra space will take more development time, this means more cost and quit probably a delay in launching the title, do they launch the xbox version and make PS3 owners wait another 3 or 4 months while they finish the extra's or do they delay the xbox version and cost the company money with it sitting there doing nothing.
I think this is the biggest problem but we will have to see.

Xbox 360 games are on dual layer dvds, so that's only 8.5gb.
I think God of war III or Gran Turismo 5 will probably use up a 50gig blu-ray. it's definitely gonna be one of the big First party Sony games.
3 games are being made for the full blu-ray and capacity potential
resistance 2 is using a lot
cod: waw
and some other game
That's not necessarily a PS3 question, but a game developer question. If the developer does not take advantage of the extra capacity of a Blu-Ray disc, then, of course, you won't see the full extent of what the PS3 can handle.
As other posters have said, look to Resistance 2, Killzone 2, God of War 3, and other titles to make better use of the capacity of Blu-Ray…
well kojima said that MGS4 filled up the 50gb blu-ray… and supposedly final fantasy XIII was going to take up 100gb but since its going on xbox, it probably will use the 25gb… screw microsoft
