Which is better for GTA IV, an Xbox or PS3?
Any help would be great, I don't know much about game consoles!
Thanks
Videogamer in the UK did an article called: GTA 4: Xbox 360 vs. PS3 - 360 Wins
Take a look on my link below.
They even have a video of half the screen playing Xbox and other half playing PS3 so you can see the graphic differences.
I think it's mainly PS3 owners saying Xbox has more frame rate issues.
I play GTA on an Xbox and have not had a single complaint with it's performance and no issues what-so-ever so far.
I'm very happy with the way it works on the Xbox.
Rockstar released a patch today that fixes the freezing issue on the PS3. I never had issues on Xbox so that makes me think it's more stable. No patches needed for xbox version.
The only difference that the article I read states is that when watching TV in your apartment in the game, you have 1 additional camera view to watch TV on PS3 than Xbox, but that is no big deal.
I recommend Xbox version like the article.

Well each of the 2 have their problems
PS3 - Loading screen freezes up on alot of GTA games. R* have issued a step by step guide on how to fix this if you can be bothered. Mine works fine now so I don't need their guide.
X360 - There have been more complaints about frame rate issues and game slowdowns on the 360 version.
I find this very interesting but just to let you know, both games have framerate issues, it just happens on he 360 version more often
PS3 Version
KC-run doesn't know anything, the xbox 360 is much better, the graphics are sharper than the ps3 version and the ps3 version is way too dark and there's glitches on the PS3 version like character's heads going through walls and other glitches like that, but the xbox 360 version is perfect, I've played them on both consoles, so I know, I'm playing it mostly on the xbox 360 and the game is fantastic, but not better than Call of Duty 4
Personaly I think the PS3 version is slightly better(criper image and not as dark)
PS3 has crisper image, but is much more prone to freezing.
