which is better resolution for the ps3?? 1080p or 720p?
i have an 32’s inch Hdtv what resolution is better for pure gaming and best graphics on my tv? i tried gta iv on both resolutions and cant decide which one make the gaming with the best graphics .. plz help ..Thx
Like MrL says below most PS3 games are still 720p. Though there are some at 1080p.
The resolution 1080p is a lot higher than 720p standard.
Don’t include 1080i. 1080i is naff and 720p is considered a better option.
1080p on the other hand is the best and has many more lines drawn per pass. The entire image is put on screen with one pass (Progressive) unlike interlaced (1080i) which puts on odd and even numbers in different passes given a less detailed and less smooth image. Do note that 1080i is 540 doubled.

1080p is the higher resolution, however most if not all PS3 games are 720p, so check the box on your game to see if it supports 1080p.
