im about to spend 700$ on either a 60g xbox 360 or a PS3, but im starting to wonder if the failure rate is high {10% or more}, im living in Venezuela so its very difficult to actually repair the xbox 360, but, the xbox 360 has so many surreal interesting games that i would love to play everyday like Gears of War 2, Halo and other exclusives, im not a fan of Metal gears Solid, so it doesnt really make sence to buy a PS3, since if the console doesnt have games that many people would love to play {UT3, God of War and GTA count them out} but, there isnt anything else, so, im into a big question, which console? also, i dont care about blu ray anyway, only gaming, so please, can someone help me out, because, my parents said that theres no turning back.

so, is the xbox a good choise these days, or not. thank you
