Xbox 360 Freezing Problem?

I was having a problem with my xbox 360 as it was freezing all the time and saying the disc was unreadable even though the discs I have are in near perfect condition. I, like any reasonable person said that it had to be a problem with the xbox so I sent it back. They sent me a brand new system and deemed mine as being unfixable. Naturally when I got the new system back I figured that it would work no problem. I played it for a while and began having the exact same problem again, the system just basically refuses to read the disc. The games I have are, with the problems listed in parenthesis:

NBA 2K9 (cannot show replays and feeezes for like 2 mins and then the game loads up again and plays through but will not play replays.)

Gears of War 2 (game plays for like 10 mins and then says the disc is unreadable)

GTA IV (some problem as Gears 2)

Street Fighter IV (no problems as of yet)

I cannot imagine what the problem would be, I am playing on an older tv and am using an RF switch so it isnt using the cables that come with the system

Also I am using a wireless controller with a plug and play cord as the charger broke.

What am I supossed to do here? I am very frustrated and considering getting a PS3. Please help me out. Hope that was enough info.

Um, 1 suggestion I would say is use a dated TV with the cables it came with. That could be the problem. Also, it could possibly be the game. It depends if they were NEW or USED. I could bet its the TV with the cables. Just try and see.

Wow. Try sending it in again and see if the next one they send you works. If it doesn't then you can go with the PS3.

I found this great article on how to fix xbox 360 freezing problems (and see if it relates to the game discs or console). http://www.gxpblog.com/2009/03/xbox-360-keeps-freezing.html
