So I am planning on selling my Nintendo Wii with games and accessories for about $500 next week or so.
I will have more than $1000 saved up (3 years =( )

So I am wondering should I get the 360 or the PS3.
I personally like the XBOX 360 better, just because like 80% of my Friends have an XBOX and I can play them on XBOX Live.
PS3 .. I dont think Its a bad gaming system, just that less of my friends have it.

The exclusive games I want to play on the XBOX 360 are Halo 3, Gears 1 and 2, Left 4 Dead , but that's pretty much all the exlusives that I want to play on the 360. Most other good games are Multi Platform.

For the PS3, I don't really like any of the exclusives. I know its a more powerful console than 360, blu ray, free wifi etc. But I don't know If I want it, because most people just use it as a Blu Ray player not gaming. Not really what I am looking for because I want to play games more.

I am going to get Rock Band 2 , COD 4, GTA 4 etc.. for sure. No matter which console I am getting.

I am just wondering which console I should get?
And No, I will definitely not keep the Nintendo Wii, because I just don't play it, period.

P.S. I have a friend who already gave me 13 months of XBOX Live,and I already have an ethernet cable because I am thinking that I will get a 360 for sure.But I need your opinions.
