Xbox or PS3?
I have a PS3 rite now but i have been thinking about returning it and mygams to get a xbox. i will probably play only online
1) should i trade in PS3 for xbox
2) if i return my ps3 and 10 or 15 games(Call of DUty 4, GTA IV, and MLB 08: The Show to name a few) do you think that willbe enough or close to enough for xbox, xbox live, and COD 4, Gta IV and halo

This is the way I see it, most games will buy around $45, depending on where you sell, and the ps3 itself used can be about $360 and controlers (I'm assuming the old ones without duelshock) is $20 to $30. The cheapest deal for the 360 is $400 as far as I can tell and games are around $60 each. Money wise you're covered. If you sell the games can you can play xbox live for a long time.
But what I recommend to do now is wait for the newest model of 360 to come out. Currently the 360 has a failure rate of around 20% at the most from what I heard and it's not too smart to get one now (trust me, it's a pain in the neck to have to send the 360 in for repairs) The newest model should cut the failure rate.

Comments on Xbox or PS3?
i wouldnt do that.
you may be close pending the size of the ps3 how many controllers you have and you may have enough money depeding on which size 360 you want
360 is def worth getting it comes with achievements which are fun to get and there are much more games to chose from
Probably not really close, just cause they only give you about 60% of what you got things for once they're considered used…if I were you, I'd stick with the PS3 and just wait for PS Home to come out, if you're upset with PS3's online capabilities.
you should i have heard that ps3's break easly
and it should be enough
Well it depends on whether you want a Xbox or 360. I haven't tried the 360 but I played Xbox for a while and it's pretty sweet. The options are endless and you get more game choices (more or less, the newer games are targeted towards the 360). With the PS3 (I have one) it's cool and there is still online play but it's harder to deal with in my opinion. The graphics are great but the blu-ray discs are the only movies and games that are going to look good on it (also that's depending on what television you own). I would probably go with the Xbox but if it's going to take a lot of hassle to trade it in, I wouldn't bother. As for the price part of the question I'm assuming Xbox is still a hell of a lot cheaper than PS3 and if you trade the 10-15 games in you should definitely have enough. Hope that helps
In the end, it's really up to what you prefer!
PS: The games for the PS3 are more expensive so trading it in for the Xbox would probably be a more 'economical' choice
